Our Mission
Every developer has spent hours evaluating APIs — reading sparse documentation, hunting for pricing pages, and wishing someone had just tried it and written an honest take. That's the gap we fill.
APIHiver exists so you can spend less time evaluating and more time building. We test APIs hands-on, document their gotchas, and lay out real pricing in plain English — so the comparison that would take you a weekend takes you ten minutes.
How We Make Money
We earn affiliate commissions when readers sign up for an API through our links. This never influences our ratings — we clearly label affiliate links and will happily recommend a free or non-affiliated API when it's the right choice. Our reputation depends on being trustworthy, not on pushing any particular vendor.

We accept no payment to write positive reviews. Every ranking and recommendation is based on our own testing and research.

We're developers writing for developers. Every article includes real code, honest DX notes, and practical integration guidance.

All content on APIHiver is free to read, forever. We earn affiliate commissions when you sign up through our links — at no cost to you.
For API Providers
If you build an API and want independent coverage, we'd love to hear from you. We review APIs on merit, not payment — but we're always happy to get early access, documentation previews, or technical context from your team so we can write a thorough piece.
We're also open to sponsored tutorials and content partnerships where we clearly disclose the relationship. What we don't do is let sponsorship change our conclusions.
