Using APIs

Discussions, reviews and support

Talk to providers, review APIs and get notified of changes.

APIHiver connects the people who use an API with the people who make it.

Discussions

Every API has a public Discussions tab. Start a thread to ask a question, report a bug or suggest a feature; the provider and other developers can reply. Search existing threads first, because your question may already be answered.

Reviews

Share your experience with a star rating and a comment at the bottom of the API's Overview page. You need to be signed in. Reviews from people who have subscribed to the API are marked as coming from a subscriber, so readers know they're based on real use.

Contacting a provider privately

Click Contact Provider on an API's listing to send the provider a private message. Replies arrive in your Inbox (the envelope icon at the top of the page), in real time.

Getting notified about changes

Click Get Notifications on an API's listing to follow it. When the provider posts an announcement (for example a new endpoint, a planned change or maintenance), it's delivered to your Inbox.

Your Inbox

The envelope icon at the top of every page opens your Inbox. It collects private messages, announcements from APIs you follow, and replies to your discussions, with an unread count.

Platform support

For anything about your account, billing or the platform itself, email [email protected] or use the Contact us page. For questions about how a specific API works, the provider is usually the fastest to answer.
